WARSAW, Poland (AP) The European border agency says it will deploy 20 border control officers from across Europe to Poland to assist in the smooth and safe passage of thousands of fans going to World Cup matches in Russia's Kaliningrad region.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup will be the 21st FIFA World Cup, an international football tournament contested by the member associations of FIFA. It is scheduled from 14 June to 15 July 2018 and to take place in Russia.
